Italian Day

On the evening of June 2nd, 2026, the Italian Ambassador's Residence in Nairobi became the setting for the annual Italian National Day celebrations — a prestigious gathering that brought together members of Kenya's diplomatic corps, government officials, business leaders, and media personalities.

Kitchens & Beyond was proud to be among the event's sponsors. As a company whose identity is deeply intertwined with Italian design and craftsmanship, our presence at this occasion was more than fitting — it was a natural expression of who we are.

A Night of Culture, Craft, and Connection

This year's celebration was particularly notable. Cabinet Secretary for Tourism Rebecca Miano attended as guest of honour, and the evening featured an immersive artistic installation that underscored Italy's enduring contribution to the arts and creative culture. The atmosphere was one of genuine warmth and cross-cultural exchange — the kind of setting that reminds you why great design always has a story behind it.

Representing Kitchens & Beyond on the evening were our General Manager, Tyron Immelman, and our Head of Operations, Ashpal Saberwal — both of whom engaged with the distinguished gathering of guests and reinforced the company's position within Nairobi's luxury design landscape.

Our Italian Heritage

The connection between Kitchens & Beyond and Italy is not incidental. Our portfolio is built on partnerships with some of Italy's most respected design houses — Snaidero, the iconic kitchen brand synonymous with precision engineering and elegant form; Caesar Ceramiche, whose ceramic surfaces define spaces with texture and sophistication; and Novamobili, whose furniture collections bring warmth and modularity to modern living.

These are not merely the brands we stock. They are the philosophy we carry into every project — residential or commercial, kitchen or bathroom, tile or wardrobe.

Looking Ahead

Events like Italian National Day are a reminder of the power of partnerships — between countries, between industries, and between people who share a commitment to quality. We are grateful to the Embassy of Italy in Kenya for the opportunity to be part of this occasion, and we look forward to continuing to bring the very best of Italian design to Kenya for years to come.
